VSP makes every possible effort to conduct KAIZEN in our management, as we strive to upkeep workplace efficiency and safety, and sustainable technological advancement.
To be the best, we need to consistently aim to ensure our management system achieve its goal in producing a high quality products. Thus, we have implemented System Integration and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) as our SOP. This module integrates with the Inventory Management, Customer Order Processing and Purchasing Order Processing to provide real-time information that is critical for the generation of accurate MRP and MPS plan. Real time integration to the Financial Control modules also helps to provide accurate costing information.
VSP consistently deliver a sustainable quality of products as achieved via our comprehensive quality management under the VSP Excellence Programme (VEP). By incorporating proven productivity-enhancing systems such as Kaizen, 6 Sigma, Single-Minute Exchange of Die, Effective Root Cause Analysis, Kanban and 5S, we have been able to streamline our work processes in line with the ideals of lean manufacturing, create value and maximise efficiency for our customers.

VSP practices 6 SIGMA within our management and production, an organization tools to improve the capability of our business processes and operation. This increase in performance and decrease in process variation helps lead to defect reduction and improvement in profits, employee morale, and quality of products and services.

VSP has implemented KanBan for 38 items, using its board as “Card System”. This enabled VSP to reduce balance stock level and lead time to customers.
VSP has identified areas to further improve in 6S and we have our certified staff who will monitor and sustain 6S.
Through 5S and Occupational Risk Assessment (ORA) training, our staff’s safety is ensured. Our certified staff will monitor and sustain 5S and Safety procedures.
VSP implements Defect Library methods to encourage the best practices, maintenance and diagnostic techniques, and remedial methods to detect defects.
This system is applied to VSP’s manufacturing system to prevent mistakes done by human errors. Through applying Poka Yoke, we able to reduce human mistakes and reduce our production cost.
By applying Autonomous Maintenance, VSP can implement restoration and prevention of accelerated deterioration of our machines.
